FLSA: Exempt

Position Summary:

We are seeking a curious, empathetic, collaborative, tenacious Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our high-performing Business Development team.

You will evangelize 120Water by generating new business through inbound and outbound sales activity to fuel our growth. You will work closely with other members of the sales and marketing team to create and prioritize target account lists and effective messaging within a defined territory or region. 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Communicate 120Water’s value proposition to the market
  • Generate pipeline through sales activity to obtain quota goals
  • Effectively convey the impact of drinking water legislation and policies to prospects
  • Nurture and build relationships with prospective customers to meet their needs
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to support revenue quota attainment 
  • Work with marketing to create and execute demand-generation campaigns
  • Travel to conferences and various events on behalf of 120Water

Successful Candidates Will Possess:

  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Means to self-motivate and work independently
  • Strong sense of initiative and desire to achieve
  • Capacity to quickly adapt to change in a fast-paced work environment 
  • Experience generating leads for a value-based solution sales cycle
  • 1+ years experience in SDR/BDR or sales role preferred
