Roles & Responsibilities

We are offering an 8-month internship as a Process Engineering Assistant, where you will work closely with a team of engineers.

Job Description

  • Obtain client process information through questionnaires and water analyses.
  • Assist the process engineers to establish protocols and oversee the execution of Proof of Concept Pilots.
  • Oversee the project’s conception, design and specifications and manage scheduling, cost estimation, and securing materials.
  • Perform functional checks, testing, maintenance, and failure analyses on Pilot skids.
  • Monitor water quality and perform regular calibration of sensors.
  • Provide technical support to clients and Support in O&M / Testing and commissioning.
  • Data collection and results analysis report for Pilots.
  • Market analysis: competitor, price, legal and regulatory framework research.
  • Customer satisfaction survey after the Pilots are completed.
  • Periodic travel to site and office meetings locally and overseas where necessary.
  • Any other tasks delegated by the management/engineering team.

Your Profile

Education:

Undergraduate in the following studies:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science

Experience:

  • Knowledge and passion for sustainable technology applications.
  • Familiar with process equipment such as pumps, sensors, valves etc.
  • Experience or knowledge in water and treatment process design preferred.
  • Preferably with GHG Scope 1,2 & 3 reporting knowledge.
  • Undergraduates with strong and relatable theoretical knowledge and practical approach are welcome to apply.

Software:

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Knowledge in AutoCAD Mechanical preferred.

Language:

  • Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English
  • At least one other local and/or regional language.

Skills and Attitude:

  • Hands-on, boots-on-the-ground approach to work.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Accurate and attentive to detail.
  • Ability to communicate and work well with different people.
