Job Description:
Position Overview: As an Elctrochemist in our R&D Lab at Aprisium, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and testing of novel electrochemical technologies. Your responsibilities will primarily involve conducting laboratory experiments, analysing data, and collaborating with the senior research team to achieve project objectives. Key Responsibilities: • Perform laboratory experiments and tests to support the research and development of electrochemical technologies under the guidance of senior researchers.
• Prepare and handle chemical solutions, reagents, and materials required for experimental procedures.
• Operate and maintain electrochemical testing equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functioning.
• Collect and record data meticulously, maintaining organized and detailed lab notebooks.
• Assist in analysing experimental results using appropriate statistical and data analysis techniques.
• Collaborate closely with the senior research team to troubleshoot and optimize experimental setups.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of experimental protocols and procedures.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements and publications in the field of electrochemistry and related areas.
• Comply with safety protocols, maintaining a safe and clean laboratory environment.
• Communicate findings and progress to the team effectively, both verbally and in written reports.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Poly or bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Previous experience or coursework in electrochemistry or related areas is desirable.
• Familiarity with basic laboratory techniques, instruments, and safety protocols.
• Proficiency in data analysis and scientific software, such as MATLAB, or Python would be nice to have but not essential .
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to changing project needs.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively present ideas and results to team members.
• Enthusiasm for learning and willingness to take on new challenges.
