Electrical Engineer:

  • Location requirements: 60-80% in-person; Tacoma, WA
  • Work authorization requirements: Must be authorized to work within the United States
  • Compensation: $80,000-110,000

    What You'll Achieve:

  • Design and develop industrial electrical circuits, including power distribution, communication, and control systems
  • Develop, test, maintain, and optimize systems to ensure performance, reliability, and functionality
  • Oversee the manufacturing and assembly of components, ensuring compliance with design and quality standards
  • Install and commission electrical and control systems for industrial deployment
  • Operate PFAS destruction systems, analyze performance data, and provide insights to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with engineers, operators, and technicians to ensure optimal system performance
  • Create and maintain schematics, specifications, and test plans to ensure compliance and future reference
  • Skills and Toolset You'll Need to Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in industrial electrical engineering roles.
  • Expertise in designing and wiring up to 480VAC circuits, power distribution, and labeling per UL and NEC standards.
  • Proficiency in creating single-line diagrams (SLDs), three-line diagrams, and wiring schematics.
  • Experience in electrical panel design, equipment selection, breaker sizing, relay coordination, and load calculations.
  • Experience in integrating and configuring instrumentation and power systems for industrial control processes.
  • Hands-on experience with electrical equipment such as switchgear, transformers, VFDs, and protective relays.
  • Strong understanding of NFPA and OSHA standards, with the ability to incorporate them into designs.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams and follow direction from project leads.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing effectively to team projects.
  • Strong commitment to environmental sustainability and public health improvement.
  • Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with SolidWorks Electrical or similar CAD software
  • PLC programming skills using ladder logic or similar platforms (e.g., Automation Direct, Rockwell, Siemens).
  • Proficiency in designing HMIs, SCADA systems, and GUIs
  • Knowledge of networking and industrial communication protocols
  • PE Certification in Electrical and Computer
