What we are looking for:

The Senior Product Manager of agronomy is responsible for leading product management efforts within the agronomy sector. This role will focus on understanding the needs of our customers in the agronomy field, driving product creation and delivery of high-value agronomy solutions to our customers. This individual will work closely with customers, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful product development, launches, and market adoption.

Responsabilities:

  • Engage with customers, partners, and stakeholders to understand their needs, pain points, and desired outcomes
  • Prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer feedback and business objectives
  • Work closely with the engineering, design, and data teams to translate customer requirements into user stories and functional specifications
  • Coordinate with sales, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure they are well-informed and equipped to promote and support the new product releases
  • Engage with external partners, vendors, and industry experts to ensure alignment and collaboration on shared objectives
  • Monitor the competitive landscape, industry trends, and technological advancements in the agronomy sector
  • Use data-driven insights to inform product decisions and future iterations


Qualifications:

  • 5 -10 years of Product Management / R&D experience, with a focus on agronomy or agricultural products
  • Strong understanding of the agronomy sector, including market dynamics, customer needs, and technology trends
  • Proven track record of successfully developing, launching, and managing products
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external partners
  • Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Sciences, or related field. Master’s degree desired
  • Collaborate closely with growers and industry partners to drive product development initiatives, engaging in dynamic communication with field experts."
  • Skillfully extract essential insights from conversations with key stakeholders to inform decision-making and foster productive relationships within the agricultural community
  • This position can be remote but will need to be flexible in different time zones
  • This role involves traveling to meet customers, attend industry events, or visit field sites for up to 30% of the time
