Role Summary
The primary focus of this role at BlueTech involves supporting our strategy and corporate stewardship practice area, dedicated to assisting Fortune 500 clients in incorporating sustainable water practices, enhancing their corporate social responsibility, and aligning with global standards in environmental and social governance. This role is instrumental in helping clients attain their water management strategies and achieve net-zero water footprint targets.
Additionally, the position involves collaborating with the strategy consulting team to conduct due diligence for potential acquisitions. Responsibilities include researching, analyzing, and interpreting data, and crafting strategic reports to guide clients in making well-informed decisions regarding water sector investments. This is a client-facing role, emphasizing customer-centric approaches.
Being able to write clearly and concisely is a must. You will need to quickly distill information, apply critical thought and present it in an easy-to-digest format. This opportunity is ideal for engineers and scientists eager to apply their expertise in a dynamic strategy consulting environment, specifically focusing on the water sector. The individual will be curious and analytical and enjoy working in a dynamic team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the execution of water stewardship projects, including coordinating meetings, data analysis and preparing presentations.
- Distill complex information into clear insights and recommendations using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies across various water markets and technologies.
- Engage in workshops and collaborative sessions to analyze, model findings, and formulate conclusions.
- Analyze trends and innovations in the water sector influencing market development.
- Exhibit expertise in analyzing the water sector to clients and team members.
- Stay updated with research tools and methodologies, and provide training on new developments.
- Enhance industry presence through speaking engagements and participation in industry forums.
- Develop a broad understanding of diverse water technologies for high-level comparisons.
Qualifications
- A degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical engineering or an MBA is preferred but not essential.
- Skilled in R Studio, Tableau, or similar data analysis/visualization tools.
- Strong quantitative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with effective organizational skills, capable of multitasking and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable with phone interviews and online meetings with water industry executives.
- Keen interest in artificial intelligence (AI) innovation and its integration into daily tasks.
- Prior experience in water technology, engineering, strategy, or with Big 4 consulting firms is advantageous, though not mandatory.

This position is entirely remote and based in India.
