About the Product Marketing Manager
The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading go-to-market for new products that help stakeholders across the agricultural ecosystem to maximize profitability, reduce risk exposure, and improve sustainability. You’ll be accountable for creating the messaging and materials that help our sales teams bring new customers on board, and our customers understand our products and value. You’ll do this by synthesizing the knowledge of our sales, marketing, product, and science teams, and harnessing the insights of our customers.
Objectives of this Role
- Develop and execute growth strategies for our products by bringing clear personas, segmentation, and a strong customer lifecycle to life in our go to market
- Make it simple to understand our business value, differentiation, and science capabilities, both current and forward-looking.
- Empower every step of acquisition, pre-sales, sales, and service with the materials and content that allows them to be effortlessly brilliant.
- Be an influential and visible advocate for our products within the company, with our customers, and across our industry.
- Intimately understand the competitive landscape, and document and socialize that competitive landscape across the company through well-maintained documentation
- Utilize your understanding of the market to position our products competitively
Responsibilities
- Ensure that the sales and customer success teams have the materials and training they need to succeed by either creating materials yourself or coordinating with others on the product and science teams to do so.
- Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Ceres Imaging and its value propositions across primary market segments
- Work with the product team to ensure that our business model is strong based on your understanding of customer willingness to pay, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape
- Collaborate closely with the product and sales teams on the release and launch of products
Skills and Qualifications
- 7-10 years of proven experience in a product marketing function
- Highly effective cross-functional team management
- Previous experience delivering finely-tuned SaaS products to the enterprise market
- Exceptional writing and editing skills combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills. Amazing storyteller!
- Deep financial acumen with business case skills
- Agricultural or Financial Services background a plus
An estimate of the current salary range is
$120,000 - $170,000 USD
