Senior Content Marketing Manager

Datatecnics develop AI and electronics technology for the water sector. We work with major UK utilities, helping them to deliver clean and wastewater services to millions of customers.

We believe we’re one of Manchester’s most exciting tech businesses and we’re looking for a Senior Content Marketing Manager to help us accelerate our growth, after several years of product development and testing. 

The Role

In this position, you'll be leading our Marketing activity and be given the freedom to shape this function of the business.

You’ll be working with a top tier team of highly competent, friendly staff focused on delivering environmental technologies to water companies. 

You’ll work closely with the Company’s commercial, management and design functions to build the Datatecnics brand in the water sector. 

This will include: 

-       Managing the Company’s online presence including website and social feeds

-       Managing the CEOs LinkedIn and brand, including writing copy

-       Organising attendance at key events including conferences and exhibitions

-       Identifying new opportunities for product placement across key industry publications and events

-       Being a thought-leader within the business for the company’s overall brand development


Base pay for this role is set at £45k. We conduct annual salary reviews that are, at least, in line with inflation. Our wage is transparent, and we aim to ensure that we always compensate staff fully. In addition, we issue EMI stock options (options with tax relief) so staff can benefit from the company’s growth. Holiday is generous at 25 days, and this is not affected by compassionate-, parental- or short-term health-related leave. Necessary skills, qualifications and experience:

-       A minimum of 5 years in a marketing role in a tech or utilities industry related role (sector experience is key so please only apply if you have experience in either tech or utilities sector)

-       A functional understanding of digital marketing tools such Webflow, Google Analytics etc.

-       Exceptional organisational skills

-       Exceptional written and oral communication skills
