To support our team in Zurich, we are now offering a 2-months internship for a candidate with a strong interest in AI and its applications in the industrial sector. This represents a unique opportunity to become a part of a global team, expand our activities and create a tangible and sustainable impact.
What you will do
- Analyze Market and Technology Trends: Conduct in-depth research on emerging developments in AI and industrial IT, with an emphasis on manufacturing, robotics, workforce optimization, R&D, and innovative product development.
- Thematic Research: Analyze how the pervasive adoption of AI is shaping the future of manufacturing, with a strong focus on the sustainability challenges and opportunities created by advanced automation and AI technologies.
- Source and Evaluate Startups: Assess startups from a technology, intellectual property, product, business model, and operational perspective.
- Support Due Diligence: Assist the team in due diligence processes, focusing on technology, market trends, and competitive landscape analysis.
- Lead or Support Strategic Projects: Take ownership of or contribute to various initiatives across our business activities as needed.
What you will need:
- Enrollment in or recent completion of a Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field with relevant specialization.
- Previous internship experience in a relevant industry, either within a start-up or a corporate environment would be an asset.
- A curious mindset paired with strong analytical skills to efficiently evaluate technical, commercial, and strategic aspects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines within a team setting.
- A self-starter mentality and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Outstanding written communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
