To cover for a maternity leave in Fund Operations (start date as soon as possible), we are seeking an entrepreneurial person to join our team in Zurich with an outstanding knowledge in Finance & Accounting. This is a temporary role for 12 months with the option for extension. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth investment and investor reporting operations.
What you will do
- Prepare Fund reporting to investors for several venture capital funds
- Prepare valuations of venture capital investments
- Manage the annual audit process for funds and mandates
- Monitor KPIs and financial performance of portfolio companies and funds, and report to internal and external stakeholders
- Manage fund liquidity
- Participate in the development of digital tools and efficiency-enhancing measures
- Managing know-your-customer processes alongside service providers
- Managing and supporting external tax advisors
- Answering ad-hoc queries from investors and management as required
- Supporting the preparation for investor presentations
What you will need:
- Bachelor/Master’s degree in finance/accounting
- At least 5 years of working experience in finance, accounting, or audit, preferably in VC/PE or fund management industry
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, chartered accountant or CPA qualification is a strong plus
- Fluency is English is a must, other languages are a plus
- Very good excel skills
- Customer oriented approach
- Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with a problem-solving mindset
- Flair for and interest in developing and working with digital tools
