About the opening

This is a leadership role which is responsible for all sales in North America, carries the team quota, and leads the entire sales team. It is a role which requires experience selling in the industry, but also allows plenty of room for forming and executing new sales strategies. The ideal candidate will have experience selling software or data solutions to municipal utilities, and will be able to both sell directly (such as for key accounts) and manage and coach the sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a broad set of HR management tasks, including recruiting, hiring and onboarding candidates (largest component of the role)
  • Perform administrative functions such as copying, filing and distributing materials.
  • Coordinate team activities including staff meetings and recognitions.
  • Support the CEO with organizing meetings and planning
  • Other duties as assigned. Be willing to answer the call for “all hands on deck.”

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience with a variety of HR tasks, such as managing HR compliance company, communicating HR policies to employees and setting up HR processes
  • Ability to recruit great employees to join Fracta.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Japanese language is preferred (but not required)
  • Desire to learn additional areas, such as negotiating contracts and finding vendors, procuring supplies/products/services
  • Desire and ability to work as a part of a fast-paced start-up team
  • Resourceful and proactive in solving problems
  • Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
