YOUR ROLE
-
This role offers hands-on program management experience at the intersection of technology, finance, and entrepreneurship.

You will work closely with early-stage technology companies, corporate and public-sector partners, and the wider climate ecosystem in Asia-Pacific.

This position is ideal for early-career professionals who are curious, organized, and eager to learn, whether your background is in business, communications, public policy, engineering, environmental studies, or another field. Prior experience in the water sector is not required.

Based in Singapore, the Associate will support and lead high-profile innovation programs and events, contribute to communications and storytelling efforts, and help measure and communicate the impact of startup pilots and programs.

The Program Associate will report to the Director of Programs and Partnerships.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Startup Programs & Industry Partnerships
Supporting accelerator programs and innovation events that connect startups with corporates, utilities, and investors.

Coordinate planning and execution of in-person and virtual accelerator programs, workshops, and industry events

Design and draft program materials, presentations, and event collateral

Track startup engagement, program milestones, and overall program performance
-
Support customer engagement efforts in priority Asia-Pacific markets
Communications & Ecosystem Building
Helping shape IH2O Asia’s narrative with regional partners and funders as well as the Singapore water innovation community.

Draft and update content for social media, the website, newsletters, and other communications channels
-
Support the design and execution of program communications to raise awareness of water and climate innovation
-
Contribute to internal and external reporting for partners, funders, and stakeholders
-
Represent IH2O Asia at industry events, meetings, or partner engagements
Monitoring, Evaluation & Innovation Insights
Measuring and communicating the real-world impact of startups’ progress, pilots and IH2O’s innovation programs.

Support impact monitoring and evaluation for technology pilots and portfolio companies

Conduct desk research, field research, and expert interviews to assess program effectiveness

Coordinate email updates and engagement campaigns for portfolio and partners

Draft blogs and case studies highlighting innovation outcomes, lessons learned, and impact stories
REQUIREMENTS

Recent internship and/or full-time professional experience demonstrating:
-
Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills
-
Attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
-
Comfort managing multiple priorities and some ambiguity
-
Interest in innovation, entrepreneurship, and climate or sustainability-related challenges
-

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma; this is an entry-level position
-
Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
-
Background or familiarity with water, climate, or environmental issues is a plus, but not required
