We streamline compliance, operations, and reporting so utilities can manage water resources responsibly and make a lasting environmental impact. Role OverviewAs a Sales Engineer, you’ll work closely with our sales team to understand customer requirements, demonstrate our products, and provide technical expertise during the sales process. You’ll help potential customers see the value of our software, guide them through technical evaluations, and ensure a smooth hand-off to our onboarding and support teams. Key Responsibilities- Partner with sales representatives to identify and qualify opportunities- Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept projects- Gather and analyze customer requirements to tailor solutions and proposals- Serve as the technical point of contact during pre-sales and early post-sales activities- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and inform product improvements- Create technical documentation, solution diagrams, and proposals for client review- Stay up-to-date on product updates, competitor offerings, and industry trends Required Qualifications- Two year technical certification or college degree in related field- 3+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or related role (software/SaaS preferred)- Strong understanding of software architectures, APIs, integrations, and cloud platforms- Excellent communication and presentation skills—comfortable speaking with both technical and non-technical stakeholders- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple, value-driven messaging- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales cycles- Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Why Join Us?Established team with clear processes and strong collaboration; Opportunity to work on an industry-leading compliance platform; Exposure to municipal and utility compliance technology; Collaborative, fast-paced SaaS environment.
