The SAMS platform enables utility compliance and operations with integrated data and reporting.Role OverviewAs a Sales Engineer, you’ll work closely with our sales team to understand customer requirements, demonstrate our products, and provide technical expertise during the sales process.Key Responsibilities- Partner with sales representatives to identify and qualify opportunities- Conduct product demos, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept projects- Gather and analyze customer requirements to tailor solutions and proposals- Serve as the technical point of contact during pre-sales and early post-sales- Collaborate with product and engineering teams; create technical documentation and proposalsRequired Qualifications- Two-year technical certification or college degree- 3+ years in technical pre-sales/solutions engineering (software/SaaS preferred)- Understanding of software architectures, APIs, integrations, and cloud platforms; strong communication and presentation skills; familiarity with CRM toolsDesired Skills & Experience- Bachelor’s in computer engineering (Preferred); technical certifications (Preferred)- Experience with SaaS; ability to write SQL (MS SQL) and basic HTML/JavaScript- Familiarity with project management systems; proficient with Microsoft Office; strong research skills; ability to travel as neededWhy Join Us & Benefits- Established team, collaborative SaaS environment, exposure to municipal and utility compliance technology- Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance; Life insurance; Retirement plan; Paid time offEqual Employment OpportunitySend your resume and position of interest to Info@njbsoft.com to apply.
