Location: United States. Reports To: Sales Director. Job Type: Full-Time, Remote, 8-hour shift. About Us: We are a rapidly growing software company helping utilities deliver safe, clean water via the SAMS platform. Role Overview: Work with sales to understand requirements, demonstrate products, and provide technical expertise during sales, guiding prospects through evaluations and hand-off to onboarding/support. Key responsibilities include partnering with sales on opportunities, demos and POCs, tailoring solutions, serving as technical POC in pre/early post-sales, relaying feedback to product/engineering, creating technical documentation/diagrams/proposals, and staying current on updates and industry trends. Requirements: Two-year technical certification or degree; 3+ years in technical pre-sales/solutions engineering (software/SaaS preferred); understanding of software architectures, APIs, integrations, cloud; excellent communication/presentation; ability to simplify complex concepts; familiarity with CRM tools; self-starter. Desired: bachelor’s in computer engineering, technical certifications, SaaS experience, SQL (MS SQL), basic HTML/JavaScript, project management tools, MS Office, research skills, ability to travel.
