Location: Remote. Reports To: Director of Implementation. Job Type: Full-time, Remote. Compensation: $80,000 – $110,000 per year. Role Overview: Water Quality SME to bring deep industry expertise into product development, implementation, and client success, bridging regulatory/operational needs and technology. Responsibilities include serving as internal expert on water/wastewater quality regulations and reporting (e.g., NPDES, SDWA, EPA, state programs), translating needs into features, working with Project Management on implementations, participating in research/design/roadmap, supporting onboarding for complex monitoring/reporting workflows, developing content/templates/rule libraries/training materials, monitoring regulatory changes, and supporting Customer Success/Sales during RFPs, demos, and escalations. Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s in a related field (Environmental Engineering, Water Resources, Chemistry, Public Health, etc.); 10+ years in municipal water systems with 3+ years in senior/advisory role; deep knowledge of U.S. drinking water regulations; experience with lab methods and interpreting water quality data; excellent analytical and communication skills. Preferred: familiarity with GIS/SCADA and modeling tools; experience with PFAS, LCR, DBPs; prior work with utilities/consulting/regulators; project and cross-functional team management; PE or relevant operator certification.
