Location: RemoteReports To: Director of ImplementationJob Type: Full-time, RemoteCompensation: $80,000 – $110,000 per yearAbout UsWe help utilities deliver safe, clean water with the SAMS platform for utility compliance and operations.Role OverviewWe seek a Water Quality SME to bring deep industry expertise into software development, implementation, and client success. Bridge regulatory and operational needs with product features and implementations across Product, Implementation, Customer Success, and Sales.Key Responsibilities- Serve as internal expert on water/wastewater quality regulations, treatment processes, and reporting (e.g., NPDES, SDWA, EPA, state programs)- Translate regulatory needs into platform features; work with Project Management on implementations- Participate in user research, design reviews, and roadmap planning- Provide expert guidance during onboarding; develop/review templates, rule libraries, workflows, and training materials- Monitor regulatory changes and advise on product implications; support Customer Success and Sales during RFPs, demos, and escalationsRequirements- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Environmental Engineering, Water Resources, Chemistry, Public Health, or related- 10+ years in municipal water systems, incl. 3+ years in senior/advisory role- Deep knowledge of U.S. drinking water regulations; experience with lab methods and water quality data; excellent analytical and communication skillsPreferred Skills- Familiarity with GIS, SCADA, modeling tools; experience with PFAS, lead and copper rule, DBPs; prior work with utilities, consulting firms, or regulators; ability to manage projects and cross-functional teams; PE or relevant certificationWhy Join Us & Benefits- Established team, leading compliance platform, exposure to utility tech, collaborative SaaS environment- Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance; Life insurance; Retirement plan; Paid time offEqual Employment OpportunitySend your resume and position of interest to Info@njbsoft.com to apply.
