Our core product, SAMS, is the industry leading platform within this software space delivering browser and mobile-based data acquisition, management and reporting services. Being in business for over 10 years, our dedicated and knowledgeable staff deliver timely implementation and support of operationally critical solutions to our clients.As a Sales Engineer, you’ll work closely with our sales team to understand customer requirements, demonstrate our products, and provide technical expertise during the sales process. You’ll help potential customers see the value of our software, guide them through technical evaluations, and ensure a smooth hand-off to our onboarding and support teams.Qualifications and Educational Requirements:- Two year technical certification or college degree in related field.- Bachelor’s Degree in computer engineering (Preferred).- Technical Certifications (Preferred).- At least 1 year of experience with SaaS software (Preferred).- Ability to write SQL queries specifically on MS SQL.- Ability to write basic HTML, Javascript programming codes.- Familiarity with project management systems (e.g. Zoho CRM, etc.)- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite- Strong research skills and attention to detail.- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.- Ability to communicate and has presentation abilities.- Ability to travel as needed.Job Requirements:- 3+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or related role (software/SaaS preferred).- Strong understanding of software architectures, APIs, integrations, and cloud platforms.- Excellent communication and presentation skills—comfortable speaking with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple, value-driven messaging.- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales cycles.Key Responsibilities:- Partner with sales representatives to identify and qualify opportunities.- Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept projects.- Gather and analyze customer requirements to tailor solutions and proposals.- Serve as the technical point of contact during pre-sales and early post-sales activities.- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and inform product improvements.- Create technical documentation, solution diagrams, and proposals for client review.- Stay up-to-date on product updates, competitor offerings, and industry trends.Benefits: Dental, Health, Life, PTO, Retirement, Vision.
