Location: RemoteReports To: Director of ImplementationJob Type: Full-time, RemoteCompensation: $80,000 – $110,000 per yearAbout Us: We help utilities deliver safe, clean water through the SAMS platform, enabling data collection, integration, and reporting for compliance and operations.Role Overview: Bridge regulatory/operational needs and product development to ensure SAMS reflects best practices in water and wastewater quality compliance. Work cross-functionally with Product, Implementation, Customer Success, and Sales.Key Responsibilities:- Serve as internal expert on water/wastewater quality regulations and reporting (e.g., NPDES, SDWA, EPA, state programs).- Translate regulatory needs into platform features and improvements.- Support implementation of SAMS compliance and operational solutions.- Participate in user research, design reviews, and roadmap planning.- Guide onboarding for complex water quality monitoring/reporting.- Develop/review templates, rule libraries, workflows, training materials.- Monitor regulatory changes and advise on product/service implications.- Support Customer Success and Sales with expert input for RFPs, demos, and escalations.Requirements:- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Environmental Engineering, Water Resources, Chemistry, Public Health, or related.- 10+ years in municipal water systems, incl. 3+ years in senior/advisory role.- Deep knowledge of U.S. drinking water regulations and understanding of state/local discharge permits.- Experience with laboratory methods and interpretation of water quality data.- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.Preferred Skills: Familiarity with GIS/SCADA, water quality modeling; experience with PFAS, LCR, DBPs; prior work with utilities, consulting firms, or regulators; ability to manage projects and cross-functional teams; PE or relevant operator certification.Benefits: Dental, Health, Life, PTO, Retirement, Vision.
