What You Will Contribute:
We are seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented team member to join our ERP implementation project, with a dedicated focus on Sales and Marketing processes. This role will serve as a liaison between the ERP project team and Sales/Marketing stakeholders, ensuring that business requirements are accurately captured, translated into system functionality, and successfully implemented.
In addition, this role will provide direct support to the Solution Architect of Commercial Operations, contributing to the alignment between ERP and Salesforce platforms and ensuring seamless integration of commercial processes across systems. The ideal candidate will also bring experience with product configuration tools and processes, helping to optimize how configurable products are managed and sold across platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to gather, document, and validate business requirements.
- Lead discovery workshops, project meetings, and design sessions with clear objectives.
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring alignment and shared understanding.
- Document requirements as user stories, process flows, and functional specifications that can be implemented in CRM and ERP systems.
- Translate functional needs into ERP system specifications in partnership with technical teams and consultants.
- Participate in ERP system design, configuration, testing, and training activities related to CRM, lead management, campaign tracking, pricing, quoting, and sales order processing.
- Support data migration efforts for customer, product, and campaign data.
- Assist in change management and user adoption strategies for Sales and Marketing teams.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to future-state workflows.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Sales and Marketing modules during implementation and post-go-live support.
- Work closely with the Solution Architect of Commercial Operations to ensure ERP and Salesforce systems are aligned and integrated effectively.
- Support Salesforce-related initiatives that intersect with ERP functionality, including customer master data, quoting, opportunity management, and reporting.
- Help troubleshoot and resolve cross-platform issues between ERP and Salesforce during implementation and stabilization phases.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of product configuration tools and processes, ensuring accurate representation of configurable products across ERP and CRM platforms.
- Collaborate with product management and sales operations to define rules, attributes, and logic for product configuration and quoting workflows.
- Collaborate with the IT department on implementing/enforcing effective change management and privileged access controls.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Sales, Marketing, or CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- At least 3 years in business analysis, project management, or a related role.
- Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.
- Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to bridge business needs and system design.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and their impact on sales and marketing operations.
- Experience with product configuration tools (e.g., CPQ platforms, rule-based configurators) and related processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced project environment.
- Experience with data analysis, reporting tools, or BI platforms is a plus.
Preferred Experience:
- Participation in ERP or CRM implementation projects.
- Understanding of sales pipeline management, campaign performance metrics, and customer segmentation.
- Experience with Salesforce configuration, data structures, or integrations.
- Familiarity with CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) systems and product configuration logic.
- Experience with change management and training delivery.
