What You Will Contribute:

The Assembler III is responsible for assembling parts according to specified work instructions and/or drawings and exhibits the ability to effectively complete critical component assemblies. This position may be required to rotate throughout the facility in a variety of assembly tasks. This position will read detailed instructions and will be responsible to ensure products are created efficiently and correctly. This role is 1st shift 7:30am-4pm.

Job Duties:

  • Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, or complete products following work orders, production drawings, sample assemblies, or verbal instructions

  • Position and align parts using jigs, fixtures, or other holding devices to ensure accurate assembly

  • Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment to secure parts using crimping, screwing, bolting, riveting, soldering, cementing, or press-fitting techniques

  • Mount assembled components (e.g., circuit boards) into chassis or enclosures

  • Connect wires to circuit boards, terminals, and other components using soldering or crimping methods

  • Install completed subassemblies or finished products into cases and cabinets

  • Prepare and organize materials into kits for inventory, shipping, or field installation

  • Participate and Contribute to Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost efforts. Implement continuous improvement actions.

  • Perform and implement 5S and Lean concepts to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient workplace.

  • Communicate effectively with intra-departmental team members such as manufacturing engineer, sales, purchasing and others as needed.

  • The ability to work overtime as needed

Education and Experience:

  • High School Degree/GED Preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in assembly/manufacturing desired

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

    1–3 years of experience in a related assembly or manufacturing role

    Basic computer proficiency (e.g., printing, email communication, report completion)

    Ability to lift and move up to 20 lbs

  • Basic proficiency with iPads, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and an ERP system required.

  • Ability to use function generators, oscilloscopes, and multimeter test equipment. (Analytical Technologies) required.

  • Basic knowledge of 5S and Lean Manufacturing concepts and be active participant in departmental improvements preferred.
