What You Will Contribute:
Join a team where your technical skill and leadership truly make a difference. The Lead RMA Technician is responsible for evaluating and repairing returned products, managing daily RMA workflow, and communicating findings that help improve product reliability and customer satisfaction. You’ll lead by example—supporting technicians, coordinating with Customer Care, and ensuring data is captured accurately to drive ongoing improvements across safety, quality, and delivery.
The Lead RMA Technician is responsible for planning the safe and efficient evaluation of customer returned goods and repairs in a timely manner. This role is the first point of contact for the Customer Care team and will resolve inquiries by ensuring information is accurately and promptly relayed. The lead will also ensure all relevant data is logged, maintained, and reviewed to improve safety, quality, and delivery of our products.
Job Duties:
Coordinate safe and efficient flow of customer returns in a timely manner.
Process incoming RMA goods for credit, calibration, warranty evaluation, and repair.
Complete product repair services as required such as replacing defective components using customer provided data, testing equipment and hand tools.
Plan the daily objectives for the team based on customer priorities and designated time frames.
Review data and make improvements to meet quality and delivery targets.
Oversee quality standards by maintaining thorough control of operational processes.
Communicate information to Customer Care in a detailed form to ensure customer feedback is accurate.
Collaborate internally with departments and leadership team to ensure areas are working effectively to meet or exceed customer expectations.
Ensure relevant data including safety, workmanship, and operational concerns are accurately relayed to the leadership and supporting teams so factors can be evaluated and resolved.
Provide mentoring to team members to ensure informed repair decisions will support high customer service both internally and externally.
Participate in, contribute to, and champion Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost continuous improvement efforts.
Provide warranty and failure analysis of returned product.
Perform testing and calibration services for products.

Education and Experience:
High School Degree/GED required
5+ years of experience in manufacturing desired
Qualifications:
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint required
Basic experience with Lean/Six Sigma

Working Conditions:
Work is performed in a Manufacturing environment
Depending on the assigned department, must be able to demonstrate the ability to lift up to 60 pounds and complete an audiogram test
Must be able to wear personal protective gear most of the day
