What You Will Contribute:
The Electronic Controls Technician I (ECT I) supports the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic control systems for water treatment facilities and related infrastructure. This entry-level role focuses on assisting with fieldwork, making redline corrections to drawings, and learning the fundamentals of control panel integration.
Job Duties:
Assist in the installation of control panels and wiring in the field.
Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of less complex systems.
Support senior technicians during field installations and commissioning.
Make redline corrections to control panel drawings.
Learn and follow safety protocols and electrical standards.
Maintain tools, equipment, and documentation.
Up to 70% travel required.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Technical training or coursework in electronics or electrical systems preferred.
0-1+ years of experience in electrical or controls-related work.
Qualifications:
Basic understanding of electrical systems and control wiring.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics (with guidance).
Familiarity with hand tools, conduit bending, and wiring practices.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
