What You Will Contribute:

The Maintenance Technician supports the Facilities team by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of the organization’s buildings, grounds, and equipment. This role ensures a safe, clean, and functional environment for employees and visitors.

The main duties include help with general repairs to the building and property including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, hydraulic, pneumatic and plumbing systems. The incumbent will need to have good problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and changing task prioritization.

Job Duties:

  • Analyze and take appropriate action to repair company equipment.

  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders and follow through to ensure expected outcome is met in a timely manner

  • Add and maintain plumbing and electrical systems to buildings.

  • Take responsibility for overall maintenance and repair of building.

  • Assist in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, etc.).

  • Perform general upkeep tasks such as painting, minor carpentry, and furniture assembly.

  • Support preventive maintenance schedules and document completed tasks.

  • Maintain cleanliness and safety throughout the facility

  • Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and report shortages.

  • Assist with setup and teardown for company events or office moves.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and report hazards to Supervisor immediately.

Education and Experience:

  • High school degree required; Associate's Degree/Trade school preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in Maintenance, Operations or a similar field desired

Qualifications:

  • Experience repairing and maintaining machinery preferred

  • Ability to troubleshoot and evaluate equipment to ensure safety and efficient operational objectives are met required

Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed in a manufacturing environment

  • Audiogram required

  • Must be able to lift up to 60lbs
