Job Description:
We are seeking a finance professional with a robust foundation in accounting to join our team. (S)he is capable of both executing operational tasks and contributing strategically. The ideal candidate is adept at optimizing and implementing our financial processes.
Responsibilities:
Accounting:
· Accounts receivable and payable management
· Guiding monthly and annual closure with the accountant (provisions, inventory, depreciations, matching, R&D activation, payments, salaries...)
· Preparation of group reporting
· Supervision of both internal and external audits
· Monitoring grants (EIC, VLAIO, FIT en BELSPO)
· Automation and optimization of finance processes'
Rapporting & Analyze Cashflow:
· Cash flow management - indirect and direct cash flow
· Budgeting & forecasting
· Reporting
· Analytical accounting
· Activity-based costing
· Work directly with the CEO on financial scenarios, cost-saving and optimization scenarios, profitability analysis.
Requirements:
· Master or Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
· At least 5 years of experience in a financial position.
· A solid understanding of accountancy.
· Extra: knowledge of Exact online, Trifact and/or Blue10.
· Knowledge of IC and VAT.
· Industry awareness and a passion for preserving the world's water resources.
